About This Meet-Up

Join us for a Carrot Club Meet-Up inside one of Congleton's most loved independent businesses, OH SHOOT! PLANTS.

This isn't your typical networking venue. It's an urban jungle packed with beautiful houseplants, quirky gifts and a welcoming atmosphere that's been carefully grown by owner Nath.

OH SHOOT! PLANTS has become a destination for plant lovers across Cheshire, not just because of the incredible selection of plants, but because of the friendly advice, workshops and genuine community that's been built around the shop. Whether you're a seasoned plant collector or someone who's managed to accidentally kill every houseplant you've ever owned, you'll feel right at home.

During the meet-up you'll get to hear Nath's journey of building an independent business from the ground up, discover what inspired the shop, and learn how passion, creativity and community have helped it grow into such a well-known part of Congleton.

As always, Carrot Club is about discovering brilliant local businesses, hearing the stories behind them, and connecting with other business owners in places that have real character.

The Experience

As you arrive you'll be welcomed into a shop that's overflowing with greenery, colour and inspiration. Before the meet-up begins you'll have time to browse the collection of plants, meet other attendees and soak up the atmosphere.

Nath will then share the story behind OH SHOOT! PLANTS, from the early days of building the business through to creating one of Cheshire's most recognisable independent plant shops. You'll hear about the challenges, the successes and the lessons learned along the way.

One of the highlights of the afternoon is that every attendee will choose their own houseplant to take home, giving everyone a lasting reminder of the day and a little piece of OH SHOOT! PLANTS to enjoy long after the meet-up has finished.

We'll also hear from our guest speaker, who'll be sharing their own business journey, experiences and practical insights before opening the floor for questions and conversation.

Throughout the afternoon there'll be plenty of opportunities to chat naturally with other local business owners, exchange ideas and build genuine relationships without the pressure of formal networking or sales pitches.

By the end of the meet-up you'll have discovered another fantastic independent business, met some brilliant people and gone home with a new plant that's hopefully much easier to keep alive than your inbox.
