What to Expect

Every Carrot Club Meet-Up is hosted inside a different independent business that's part of the Spiky Carrot network.

No pitches, no formal networking. Just genuine conversations, meaningful local connections, and the chance to discover the independent businesses that make our local patch unique.

No two meet-ups are the same. Every venue brings its own character, and we gently help everyone mix throughout the event, making it easy to meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

About This Meet-Up

Join us this September as Carrot Club visits Share Your Story, an independent store on Altrincham High Street that's helping people tell their stories through creativity.

Behind the shop is a fully equipped podcast and production studio, where businesses and creators can record professional content.

Founder Simon will be sharing how he launched Share Your Story in May 2025 and the journey of building one of Altrincham's newest independent businesses. Alongside Simon and his team, you'll also discover how podcasting can become a powerful marketing tool for your business.

The Experience

This meet-up includes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look inside the Share Your Story studio.

Simon and his team will explain how podcasts are created, the equipment you'll need to get started, and how businesses are using podcasting to build trust and reach new audiences.

Whether you've been thinking about launching a podcast or are simply curious about the process, bring your questions. This is a great opportunity to learn from people doing it every day.

As always, there'll be plenty of time to chat with other local business owners in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
