What to Expect
Every Carrot Club Meet-Up takes place inside a different independent business within the Spiky Carrot community.
No pitches, no formal networking, just genuine conversation, interesting people, and the opportunity to discover the independent businesses that make our local area unique.
About This Meet-Up
Join us for a relaxed and cosy afternoon at Cheshire Botanicals, home of Nantwich Gin, right in the heart of Nantwich.
Running from 1:00pm to 2:20pm, this meet-up is a little different from some of our others. With a smaller and more intimate setting, it's a chance to slow down, enjoy genuine conversation, and spend time with other local business owners in a unique independent venue.
You'll hear the story of how Nantwich Gin came to life from Holly and the family behind Cheshire Botanicals. Inspired by their hometown and created from a passion for craft spirits, it's a wonderful story of turning an idea into a thriving local business.
Of course, you'll also have the opportunity to sample some of their fantastic gins. If you're looking for a recommendation, Matron's Strength is well worth trying.
We'll also be joined by guest speaker Andrea Atkin of Andrea Divorce Coach, who will be sharing her own business journey, experiences, and insights in a friendly and down-to-earth way.
As always, there'll be plenty of opportunities to chat, meet new people, and make connections naturally. We'll include a few light-hearted activities to help people get to know one another, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending.
Whether you're coming to discover the story behind a brilliant local business, meet fellow business owners, or simply enjoy great conversation while tasting local gin, we'd love to see you there.
The Experience
We keep things simple, relaxed, and welcoming.
You'll arrive, settle in, and have the opportunity to sample Nantwich Gin while chatting with other attendees. You'll hear from Holly about how Cheshire Botanicals began, learn about the journey behind the brand, and discover what makes their gin so special.
Alongside this, Andrea Atkin will share her experiences of running her own business, offering honest insights and practical lessons from her own journey.
With a smaller group size, everyone has the opportunity to join the conversation, ask questions, and get to know one another in a comfortable setting.
