What size is the poster frame, and where is it typically installed?

We use A3 black frames and look for visible spots where people will notice them, such as near a front window or a busy seating area.

How long is the commitment to host an advert?

Our minimum commitment is 3 months per location. Poster content is rotated to keep it fresh. If there’s no advertiser for your space, we’ll display one of our default posters. We handle all changeovers.

Do I need to maintain or clean the frame?

No, we take care of all maintenance and cleaning.

What happens if you don’t have an advert for my space?

We’ll use one of our default poster designs to advertise the available space.

What kind of locations are you looking for?

Any space where people spend time is ideal: cafés, shops, salons, studios, restaurants, and more. We welcome all types of independent businesses.

Is my business too small or niche to host a Spiky Carrot poster?

Not at all! Our network includes a wide range of businesses, and all sizes and niches are welcome.

Will hosting a poster disrupt my customers or staff?

No. Our frames are for printed posters with no moving parts, so they won’t disrupt your space or operations.

Do I get to approve the advertisers?

Yes. We contact hosts about advertisers to ensure there are no conflicts or issues before placement.

How does being featured on your website help my business?

Your business gains visibility online, with customers able to find you through our site. Plus, our SEO efforts improve your page’s quality, helping more potential customers discover your business.

Are there any hidden costs or fees?

No. The only requirement is to provide wall space for an A3 framed poster. We handle everything else.

My business is outside the UK or not shown on your map. Can I still enquire?

If your business is based outside the UK, we’re not set up for international locations just yet. If you’re UK based, we’d still love to hear from you. We’re growing outward from the North West, which is our main hub, and are always looking to add great new locations. If you’re unsure, please do get in touch and we’ll see if Spiky Carrot could be a good fit.
