The Business Guardian Angel

Your probably wondering who I am, It’s Andrea, the, founder of The Business Guardian, born and Bred in London, but with Greek Cypriot heritage. There are so many variations of my name, how its pronounced and how its spelt! but that’s a conversation for another time

A few things about me, when I’m not working you will usually find me spending quality time with my children, reading, watching films, and being by the sea, that’s what calm is to me.

What you should also know is that I love a holiday and the spring is my favourite time of year along with the summer being a very close second.

Running a business is something many people dream of, the freedom, the flexibility, the chance to do what you love. But behind the scenes, the reality can often feel very different. Long to do lists, unanswered emails, missed appointments, and the constant feeling of trying to keep everything together can quickly become overwhelming.

This is something I’ve seen time and time again throughout my 20 years working in administration and business support. It’s also what led me to evolve my business into something more meaningful, more supportive, and more aligned with what business owners truly need.

That’s where The Business Guardian was born.

What is The Business Guardian?

The Business Guardian is the next chapter of my Virtual Assistant business. It’s dedicated to support business owners not just with tasks, but with the overall running, organisation, and flow of their business and life.

The name reflects exactly what I aim to be for my clients someone who protects their time, creates structure, brings calm, and ensures nothing important slips through the cracks.

The services I offer go beyond traditional admin support. They are designed to give business owners space to breathe, think clearly, and focus on what they do best.

It’s about looking at the bigger picture not just ticking off tasks but creating systems and support that genuinely make life easier.

The Inspiration Behind It

The idea for The Business Guardian came from working closely with clients who were passionate about their work but struggling behind the scenes.

I remember one client, a coach and a mum of two, who loved what she did but constantly felt like she was “dropping the ball.” Her inbox was overflowing, her diary was chaotic, and she never felt fully present either in her business or with her family. As a mum of 2 I have been there and this resonates so much.

We started small, organising her diary and setting up simple systems. Over time, we created clear processes for her daily tasks and streamlined her client management. Within weeks, she told me she felt like she could finally “think again.”

That moment stayed with me.

It made me realise that what business owners need isn’t just help — they need someone who understands the pressure they’re under and can step in to bring calm and clarity.

The Business Guardian was created from that understanding.
