Mabel’s Café & Tea Rooms is an independent café in the heart of Altrincham, created from owner Mandy’s long-held dream of opening a welcoming place where everyone feels comfortable. Named after her beloved French Bulldog, Mabel, the café has become a friendly local spot where customers can enjoy good food, homemade baking and a relaxed atmosphere.

Mabel’s Café & Tea Rooms is the result of Mandy Alcock turning a lifelong ambition into reality. After many years working in office-based roles, the opportunity finally came to create the café she had always imagined, a place built around warmth, community and good food.
Named after her first French Bulldog, Mabel, the café reflects Mandy’s belief that everyone should feel welcome. Whether customers are visiting for breakfast, coffee and cake, afternoon tea or a special gathering, the focus remains the same: creating a friendly, homely space where people can relax, connect and enjoy spending time together.
