Why Advertise Here

Spiky Carrot is proud to feature Mabel’s Café & Tea Room – a charming, independent venue in Altrincham that’s become a local favourite not just for its cakes and coffee, but for its heart, creativity, and community spirit.

Named after the owner’s beloved French Bulldog Mabel (who still makes the odd guest appearance!), the café is warm, welcoming, and dog-friendly – the kind of place where customers feel right at home.

But Mabel’s is much more than a café. It’s fast becoming a go-to venue for local events, regularly hosting:

🎨 Arts and crafts workshops

🤝 Networking events

🍼 Baby showers and private gatherings

👩‍👧‍👦 Inclusive sessions for SEN families

🎄 Seasonal pop-ups and creative community sessions

Mabel uses her café to bring people together – combining a love of great food and coffee with a flair for creating fun, inclusive, and welcoming experiences.

Whether you're looking to advertise your product, service, or local event, Mabel’s Café & Tea Room offers real visibility in a space people genuinely love to spend time in.

Our calendar is brimming with events like baby showers, live photo shoots with kids and pets, arts and crafts sessions, and business networking events. We also host afternoon teas, where customers often stay for extended periods, offering even more exposure for your brand. Occasionally, we close the café for large private events, giving businesses a chance to showcase their message to dedicated, engaged groups.

FAQs

Is payment taken straight away?

To secure your chosen location, we take a deposit upfront. The deposit amount depends on the number of spaces you’re booking and the duration of your campaign.

Is there a minimum booking period?

We recommend a minimum booking of 3 months per location. This gives your advert enough time to become visible, familiar, and effective in that space.

When does my ad space term start if I pay today?

We operate on a month-by-month basis. Your booking will begin from the next available monthly slot unless otherwise agreed. We'll confirm your start date once your booking is processed.

Can I book more than one location?

Yes! We offer discount if you book multiple ad locations. Just let us know what you’re interested in and we’ll tailor a package for you.

Do you offer design or printing help?

We do! If you need help creating your advert or getting it printed, we’ve got you covered — just let us know what you'd like support with.

Is it possible to track the performance of my poster?

Yes. We provide tracking for your QR code so you can see how many scans your poster receives. You can also see any leads that come through your profile page, which is linked directly to your ad space. This gives you a clearer view of how your campaign is performing.
